Marco Levantesi is a Ph.D. student at Magdeburg University, exploring the frontiers of Artificial Intelligence with a focus on enhancing Large Language Models (LLMs) and their applications. His research is curraently centered on two innovative paths: developing * Cognitive AI systems * that integrate emotional understanding into LLMs, enabling more sophisticated, human-friendly interactions, and investigating the potential of combining LLMs with * genetic algorithms * to tackle a broader range of problem-solving With hands-on experience in Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch, he has contributed to projects involving predictive maintenance and AI-driven solutions. His technical foundation is complemented by certifications in AI development and machine learning from IBM and [DeepLearning.AI].
Currently, He is deeply engaged in reading and analyzing research papers as he shapes the direction of own Ph.D. journey, with LLMs as the common thread.
Driven by curiosity and a desire to push the boundaries of AI, He is passionate about contributing to the development of AI systems that are both more intuitive and impactful in solving real-world problems.
